Inquiry and Critical Thinking (ICT) Program
Started in July 2022, the Inquiry and Critical Thinking (ICT) program is a collaboration between Pravaha, ThinQ, and Agastya International Foundation. The aim of the program is to help learners develop their ability to: inquire and think critically across diverse domains of academic knowledge: that is, to think like an academic. In effect, we expect the program to develop Higher Order Cognitive abilities in learners.
The primary instructors for this course are Dr K P Mohanan (Ph.D., MIT) and Dr Tara Mohanan (Ph.D., Stanford). The year long program has 4 offline sessions combined with weekly online sessions. 36 children between Grades 5 and 8 from all over India are enrolled in the program.
The learning outcomes that the program aims at are of value in everyone's personal, professional, and public lives. For those who wish to engage in research, it would provide the foundational trans-disciplinary understanding and thinking tools central to specialized research.
